Our new policy have 2 sections:
1. Group / Block bookings
2. FIT
OPTION AVAILABLE:
A. Hold 2 rooms on provisional status until 45 days prior without incurring penalties – these rooms will be automatically released if no confirmation is received by 45 days prior. This option should specifically be asked for on 60 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
13.1. 45 - 60 Days prior to arrival - 50% of accommodation
13.2. 28 – 45 Days prior to arrival – 75% of accommodation
13.3. 10 – 28 Days prior to arrival – 85% of accommodation
13.4. 10 Days or less prior to arrival - 95% of accommodation on a dinner bed and breakfast basis.
13.5. non-arrivals - 100% of accommodation on a dinner bed and breakfast basis.
Meals are charged where it forms part of the rate structure booked and confirmed.
- Bookings made within 60 days prior to arrival will only be held provisional for 7 days after which the client is to notify us of release or confirmation, or we will see the booking as being confirmed.
- Should these bookings made within 60 days prior to arrival cancel after 7 days of the date when the booking was made, cancellation penalties will apply.
We do not cancel any bookings automatically – it is the duty of the client to inform our office if cancellation is to take place.

No cancellation fees will be waived where penalties have been charged in accordance with our policy above. Late or no cancellation due to illness or death will be handled on merit once proof is received that the client was not in possession of a travel insurance. The Lodge cannot be held responsible for any loss or consequential loss resulting from the foregoing.
